Gulu University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Uganda Red Cross Society on the 4th of May 2023 from Churchill Court Hotel in Gulu City.

The Memorandum of Understanding is in areas relating to Capacity Building and Research in support of Humanitarian Services.

The collaboration will also see students of Gulu University with humanitarian mindset get internship space at Uganda Red Cross Society.

Prof. Openjuru George Ladaah the Gulu University Vice Chancellor led a team of management including the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Associate Professor Okello David Owiny, Mr. Obol David Otori the University Secretary, Mr. Nyeko John the University Bursar and Dr. Jerry Bagaya the Academic Registrar among others.

Meanwhile Uganda Red Cross Society was led by Dr Halid Kirunda the Central Board Chairperson and Robert Kwesiga the Secretary General of the organization during the function.
